The alcohol-free PET'NAT' Blanc is made by UMÀ, the Parisian producer founded by Paul and Simon, two friends who started with a simple question: what can you drink when you do not want alcohol, without settling for tasteless water or overly sweet soda? After a long research phase beginning in 2010, they launched their first drinks in March 2015, aiming to create subtler, healthier recipes from fine ingredients.
For this cuvée, UMÀ starts with products of the vine — verjuice and white grape juice from the Périgord (Sémillon, Sauvignon and Ugni Blanc varieties) — infused with a bouquet of herbs and flowers: jasmine, lemon thyme and rosemary from the Massif Central, elderflowers and French mountain honey. Dry and mineral with lovely floral notes, it is a nod to naturally sparkling wines, at only 12 kcal/100 ml.
